Writing is a Privilege.

You know that feeling when some days you feel like you have nothing to write, so you avoid your diary or blog so you don’t bore with your useless words? I’ve been feeling that lately. Alot lately. Thanks to The Unabridged Girl – I thought to myself why am I scared to write? I created this blog because I love to write. Good or bad. Random or Not. With a purpose or just because. That’s the beauty of it. It’s my words. It’s not perfect, but whatever I write makes me feel better.

My Mom gave me my first diary. I need to embrace the fact that my Mom encouraged me to write since my young years. She set aside time for me to write in my diary everyday. Honestly- I still have a pile of diaries from my childhood – a box full. A box full of memories.

Precious didn’t know how to read and write. It shouldn’t shock me, but it does. If you havn’t seen Precious- it is a very strong movie. A very good movie, but sad movie. The acting was phenomenal. Deep down inside I know how bad many people lives are- just for my own heart’s sake- I can’t constantly think of it. I realize now that writing is a privilege.

If I don’t write it down, I will forget it. Memories are too precious.

500 Days of Summer.

LMAO wow if you havn’t seen 500 days of summer- you are missing out my friend!

Unbelieveably one of THEE funniest movies this summer, and it is a rollercoaster ride of emotion as well. It was like one minute you couldn’t breathe from laughing so hard, embarrassed that the person next to you thinks you are too loud because you can’t help yourself and then the next second it’s dead silent.

I am inDEED purchasing this loveable movie!

Away We Go.

That movie was adorabley funny emotional fun! I watched it at Osio Theaters in Monterey in the tiniest showroom EVER. But it was worth it! I am very looking forward to watching 500 days of summer because I love Zooey Deschanel!

Anyways, I’m just being a lazy bum on a Friday night, which technically is my Monday. lol not so much. But I work in a resort spa what can I say- people like to indulge on the proper weekend. The spa is getting busier and busier too!! We are rocking it and will soon be the hottest spa on the pennisula for sure!

By the way- 4 shots of tequila, one tequila sunrise and one large cup of cran/vodka was soo not a good idea Wednesday night (which was my Friday). The Duck sure knows how to entice me into spending money on drinks with Wednesday’s half off.  Hey it’s always a good party time over there. It sure ended with a bad hang over though.

OH OH! I got my medical/dental benefits card in the mail yesterday! YAY it’s official I have insurance! hehe Now let’s just hope I don’t have to use it that often! lol Hmm let’s see- the landscaping crew that put a hole in the front bumper of my car with their trailer never called back. The Mr. Charlie boss man needs to fix my car. I don’t plan on driving it forever with a huge hole in the front thank you very much. Bummer.

My Corey is visiting me this Wednesday- I’m excited! It’s been a while since we had a chance to visit each other. I’m going to take him on a mini hike to the gourge in Big Sur, involving a hop, skip, jump, fall…splash over rocks! It’s so fun to hang out in the secret spot that really isn’t so secret on a sunny day! I hope it won’t be too crowded. Ne whoo toodles until next time.

The Proposal is hilarious!

That’s exactly how I shall describe The Proposal. I went to the movies with my best movie pal- Jennie…and we couldn’t stop laughing. It was one of those movies that even after a funny part ended, there are still people in the theater laughing – and I mean full on laughter. That movie was one of the best romantic comedies I have seen in a shwhile! Talk about two sexy beings coming together to create a unique movie. If you haven’t seen it- it’s a must! Doesn’t matter if your male or female, both will get great laughs! I don’t want to spoil anything…but I love that movie so much I don’t mind seeing it in theaters again lol.
